Our Sick Policy
Mary Had a Little Lamb

Mary had a little lamb. She also had the flu.

And when she left her daycare, the others
had it too!

So anytime your child is sick, please keep
her home with you.

Then the children in our daycare will all stay
healthy too!

Annual Field Trips

We take two big field trips per year.  We do ask for
parent volunteers to help with the transportation.

In October we visit:
The Green Meadows Farm and Pumpkin Patch

In late May, early June we visit:
The National Zoo

and

The National Aquarium

Yearly Fundraiser
Every year, during the late summer-early fall
CPDN sells the famous Joe Corbi Pizza's.
Every enrolled student is asked to
participate.  Because family daycares are
not federally or state funded, providers
must conduct fundraisers in order to
ensure that the daycare program be
equipped  with the new toys, art supplies
and new learning materials.

Every year a monetary goal is set.  I'm sure I
don't have to tell you how much money it
takes to keep a good program up and
running!

You may also visit the
Joe Corbi Fundraiser
website by clicking on the pizza!
Discipline:  A Parents Guide
Sick children will not be accepted into daycare.  I cannot care
for a sick child without having it interfere with the care of the
other children enrolled.  A child that does not feel well cannot
participate comfortably in the usual activities of the day.

Here are examples of symptoms that will exclude your child
from the daycare day.

Fever (101 F. and higher)
Vomiting
Diarrhea
Strep throat
Conjunctivitis
Lice/scabies
Communicable Disease, such as
(chicken pox, influenza, roseola, measles, etc)

CPDN does not administer medication of any kind.
